RCA CDS4100 - 1998/9. Very similar to the Premier DC-1500 Shown at PMA in February of 1999 and marketed in 1999. CCD 1.5MP, 1360 x 1024 pixels. Lens: F5.6. Shutter 1/3 second to1/3,500 seconds. MSRP $499. Although we normally limit camera purchases to those marketed in 1998 or prior years, we found this camera to be one more example of why collectors should do a "vintage digital cameras" search on eBay at least once a week in order not to miss a good buying opportunity. This camera in mint condition with the original box, manual and equipment shown was purchased for only $18.75. Shipping was free! Many of the rare or unique cameras in our collection were obtained because we check eBay frequently and made the purchase before other collectors were aware of the item.

REMINGTON DIGIT, ACHIEVER ADC-65, ADC-100, ANSCO DIGIPIX - 1998. Produced in Hong Kong apparently beginning in the late 1990's and continuing for a number of years. Drivers currently advertised are for Windows 95, 98, and 2000. Very small camera. Specs are the same for the 65 and 100 except that the 65 had a 256 x 256 pixel CMOS sensor with 15 image storage and the 100 a 320 x 240 pixel sensor with 7 image storage. MSRP Seemed to have varied from $130-160 with actual price being as low as $40. May have also sold under the Vesta and Coolcam names. A limited edition of the 3G was produced (about 1000?) in honor of the 20th anniversary of Gundam (science fiction media franchise). Available in silver, black or red with Gundam logos. Reportedly, only a special order item, not sold in stores. About $500.
